Interesting. I think they need an English one with a few car crashes and some supurfluous characters of most every ethnicity, especially Chinese. Did you see this movie? It looks like a real puff piece. We need something grimy, maybe have Tarantino direct it.
In my country and Latin America in general there was a lot of hype about it back in the day, and I watched a couple episodes, but eventually fell asleep to it. You're 100% right about the fact that it's a middle-of-the-road production. With a Tarantino type of guy on the bill it could garner millions, plus a bunch of awards for sure !!
